Cleveland is a sweet adult cavalier who came into foster care when his family discovered their infant was allergic to dogs. He’s an easy-going boy who enjoys the company of other dogs. He could also be an only dog, provided his new family is home most of the day to spend time with him. His paperwork indicated his is 6, though our vet team thinks he is closer to 7 or 8 years of age. His foster mom describes Cleveland as quite a gentleman. He is smart, comes when calls, goes into his crate on command and has perfect manners. He loves to play fetch with stuffed toys and enjoys time in a fenced yard with his foster family. Cleveland is a quiet boy, and rarely barks. He was raised with children and gets along well with folks of all ages. Cleveland recently had a cardiac ultrasound and started medications for Mitral Valve Disease. We have started him on cardiac meds and he will need these for the rest of his life. He’s condition is stable at this time. If you are willing to open your heart and home to this sweet boy, you won’t be disappointed. He is so loving and really ready for a person / family of his own.
