Daisy (Adopted)

Daisy is a lovely tricolor female who spent the first 7 years of her life as a puppy mill momma. She arrived with years of dirt embedded in her skin and staining on her paws and belly.

Everything is new to sweet Daisy and she’s a fast learner.  She’s learning stairs, house manners, working on her house training, and she is enjoying lots of snuggle and couch time.

Daisy’s overall health is good. She’s a lean 21 pounds.  She’s been brought up-to-date on her vaccines, spayed and had a dental. We were relieved to find out she lost just four teeth.  Daisy does have a low grade heart murmur, common to the breed, and it will need monitored as she ages.

Given Daisy’s background, she would do best with another small easy-going dog to follow and learn from.  She does not walk well on a leash yet, so a fenced yard is a must.  If you are home most of the day,  live within a reasonable drive of Huntingtown, MD, and think you may be a match for this sweet gal, please complete the application and email us to let us know of your interest!
